At StoryWalker we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to kids. As a parent, you would know that the comprehension, development need and ability to engage of a 3-year-old is vastly different from a 7-year-old kid. And our desire to be ‘a parent’s partner’ makes us sensitive to these differences.
Stories for the 3 to 6-year-old segments carry more illustrations to keep them visually engaged as they enjoy the stories and learn from them. Because the younger kids love rhymes and songs a little more, we have a lot more of those for them! The stories are mostly complete as standalone because they like and understand a closed loop far better.
On the other hand, our stories and interactive experience for the 7+ age group children are structured a little differently. The stories are written such that the older kids can connect the dots for a larger picture of what makes the Booshkata jungle and its characters. They are exposed to know more of the character motivations, attitudes and beliefs and understand the social dynamics better. The illustration styles are different and are optimized for their story experience.
That’s why you will find that our story themes, storytelling style, illustrations, and language are not the same for all age groups of children.
